Tbh the ending of Wano is so fucking bad. Like Zoro not killing Kaido is fine, but Luffy getting the comparison to Ryuma at the end… maybe the single dumbest choice Oda made.

Oda was terrified of Zoro taking spotlight from Luffy

its why Oda dropped Zoro's family plot line and overall Wano plot line

its why he's so scared to do anything with Zoro now other then his eventual fight with Mihawk

Sanji backstory is different cause its essentially just Science and Ancient Kingdom DNA wank so its just more Luffy wank

Usopp focus now and Nami focus in Final Arc are easy for Oda because focus won't make Luffy look bad. Hyping them is just more Luffy wank

Zoro is different cause his goal is solely strength based. Luffy is not sword fighter. So Oda cant handle the difference in power and scaling. So he just have to make Luffy look better always

Conan is a series that is written to be binged and last for decades
It's enjoyable, the story follows every day life
It can be

@Paperchampion23 Oda giving us next to no world updates before starting Elbaf is extremely concerning for the finale tbh. What is CG even doing? How do they plan to be a serious contender for the One Piece when their only heavy hitters are Mihawk and Croc and they have no Road Poneglyphs? Why are they still just chilling at Empty Bluffs? What are the Marines doing? Is Sakazuki gonna leave his desk anytime soon? Is GB still just transporting Weevil to ID, and is anyone gonna try to free Weevil since apparently Marco isn’t gonna do it? Where the hell is Fujitora? What was Smoker doing? Are Sengoku and Tsuru gonna get involved at all? Are the Revs doing anything actually important besides just blockading Mariejois? Will Dragon himself do anything anytime soon?

At least some of these questions should’ve been addressed before Elbaf started, but instead all we got was:

1. Garling replacing Saturn
2. Shanks beating Barto
3. Finally learning where Lafitte’s at
