Oda should have made multiple mangas, with one piece 5-7 years long and then a mecha series, a Japanese period drama series etc
He included.all his further ideas for new stories in one piece for money reasons

Hey @Pew, does Sanji look good in his new outfit? Does he have a spear?

The hoody Viking fit with the spear is fire I saw it in a colorspread hopefully he has that.

I do miss the fits he gave Sanji prior to egghead

the author just needs to be smart

while having the MC training and explaining more about the combat system

you also add side characters facing off the villain of the bigger arc, and show us the combat system in real time, side by side with the explanation

like Naruto did with the Kakazu and Hidan arc, explaning about Chakra Nature and showing Kakazu and Kakashi using many elements and countering each other, while also giving a great part of the story to a beloved side character in Shikamaru

it's an overall great idea

Dragon Ball does it all quite a few times, showing all the side characters struggling to keep the villain at bay, while Goku trains

it raises the stakes, explains the combat system and lets us explore different characters

it's a win / win if done well

My Hero Academia on the other hand, has the worst training arcs i've ever seen

I understand. This Naruto training its not bad, makes sense, but it still boring read that part, it just naruto in the waterfall. I think the training plot in itself should be more envolving.
