It could conclude like this and I’d be fine, but it really feels like Gege has a part 2 set up down the road if he ever gets the itch to come back. Would be shonen material. Reincarnated Sukuna, new 6 eyes user, Yuji as the sensei. Plenty of plot left to make a series.

Gege himself wasn't invested in it when he followed a half assed tournament arc filled with fights with the longest fight ever, only to wrap it all up with what should have been an early story mini arc

Completely forgettable last 4 chapters. Almost felt like filler or some extra content you would find at the end of the volume. Atleast Sukuna was Sukuna to the bitter end, even him going "soft" after death is not really him showing it, the dude told Mahito "no shit I lost", and left lmfao.

Maki is what confirmed to me that Gege isn't actually a good writer, let alone a great one. At that point I checked out and started reading JJK like it was just an ability showcase. Sukuna vs Gojo didn't disappoint, I have Maki to thank for that, she prepared us for the culling games having no real narrative.

This is true, JJK only got popular because of the anime. Before the anime, it was only decently popular with a small fanbase, then the anime came and made it huge.

The anime is one of the reasons why it made it on the top ten manga of the year.

Now compare that to CSM which was already popular and had really good manga sales way before the anime, and it made it on the top ten manga of the year before its anime debut.
