Mihawk was talking zoro not drinking until he learns haki
The black blades thing wasnt related to hardening
No proof color is visible

I mean, the entire context is about Zoro coating his swords in haki and Mihawk saying Zoro can't drink until he's mastered "the feat of turning every weapon into a black blade".

So either;

  1. Zoro broke the rules and drank anyways
  2. Zoro made a secret black blade
  3. Or haki is visible

Post-TS, yes. Pre-TS, no.

Same as ACoC. Before Roger vs. Whitebeard it was never seen, although it was clearly there (Shanks vs. WB, Big Mom vs. Kaido).

He clearly talks about mastering the haki feat so dont get his swords damaged which he did and now drinks

Black blade info was not related to the drinking stuff
Zoro did not make black blades yet he s drinkng
Makes no sense your argument

"Every weapon can be turned into a black blade like mine" is him saying he can put his haki on any weapon, it's not a Yoru-exclusive ability. This is backed up by the fact Mihawk doesn't skip a beat and restricts his alcohol until he masters this.

It's a simple through statement, you need to be reading this wrong to get your conclusion.

It's unclear, Rayleigh says CoA is like an invisible armor but characters are clearly able to tell if it's being used

I think haki users can sense its use but otherwise it's invisible

Luffy hits Caesar with regular haki and hurts him. Caesars says "That hurt." He is bleeding. That's still not enough damage so Luffy uses Hardening. He says Hardening. His fists only turn black when he uses hardening. Caesar sees his blackened fists and reacts to this with fear because he knows it would hurt more.

These 4 pages are right after each other. This should not be hard to understand for anyone.
reposting this. sorry about the bitching tone bc it was in the middle of an argument. these pages from punk hazard should be enough to prove to anyone that

- yes, hardening is a separate technique
- yes, you can see it with your eyes
- yes, whatever you harden physically turns black

The use of koka was noticed by other characters. It is apparently visible even in One Piece world. Though it also seems that the requirement to notice it is that you know or can use haki yourself.

There is only one exception to this rule.
Sanjis koka is invisible.
