A story goes through phases in its development, where things that were once organic, worked well, and were enjoyable to watch, eventually become clearly artificial, with nothing truly meaningful behind them.

At this point in the story, we already have a major plot that connects several character arcs. That's why a "lighthearted" adventure no longer works. And in this case, there's no doubt that we'll get more glorification of Nika and more tedious nonsense.

I don't feel any hype for these kinda chapters. Both Elbaf chapters have been kinda boring so far. :/

If war land is exclusively giants (at least below the clouds) there are a lot of potential tribes we can see

1. Warrior giants - dorry and brogy
2. Gentle giants - Saul
3. Ancient giants - oars
4. Yeti - scotch and rocks
5. Mixed

He also straight up rejected having a fleet, which seems the common thing beside having a territory and those existed for Luffy arguably before ts

He doesn't need to act differently, Yonko isn't about personality it's about strength, influence and respect he's still just a 19 year old teenager sure when he's older and more mature then maybe he'll start flexing his status a bit more but right now i don't think he even cares about being a yonko, he just read the news paper and saw he was a yonko now.

My grip is not with Luffy but Oda’s choice.

Oda clearly made Luffy a Yonko way too soon. If he wanted to have him be chased around with his two strongest crew members Zoro and Sanji by some random giant he should have done it before he was a Yonko. At some point he should take shit seriously.

That what I said above making the Strawhats a yonko crew was a mistake because Oda does not want to change his way of writing.

As a yonko Luffy should act differently, if he can’t don’t make him one of the yonko.
