When I heard there's an Army of just Greybeards in North, I knew Northerner's were Built different lol.
And for Robb and Jon , I would Simply say They never had great teachers to teach them.
Though Jon packs more battle experience in death situation and Robb is a good Commander to outsmart lannisters.
Robb was a badass commander. He beat Twyin in battle 3 times before Tywin finally defeated him with politics.

I think we're overlooking a big thing about the Sandor vs Geegor scene from the tourney:
Sandor not only parried Gregor's attacks because he himself is strong and skillful but also because this guy has been in front of his face for the better part of his life. Sandor knows every move Gregor can and does make.
He's probably countered and "killed" Gregor a thousand times shadow fighting in the yard

Alright guys! We are now entering Winners Round 1, but first we have 4 quick rounds to go through for the guys who have not got to fight yet alongside some bracket winners. So let’s do this!

Round 1b

Ser Arthur Dayne, the Sword of the Morning

VERSUS

Ser Daemon Blackfyre, the Black Dragon

WHO WINS AND WHY

@God Buggy @Cruxroux @NikaInParis @SakazOuki @RayanOO @TheAncientCenturion @TheKnightOfTheSea @Rumble @Bullet @KingOnizam @Alexis2282AE @Daniel @Dragon777

I'll go with the man Jaime describee as being able to "fight with one hand while taking a piss with the other"

Jk jk with the overhype, but Dayne does carry more weight with his reknown than Daemon. Maybe if our series' setting was during the Blackfyre rebellion I'd lean on Daemon, but as things stand Dayne takes this duel with high difficulty though (no easy fights from now on)

Arthur Dayne. GRRM has implied that Dawn is something beyond other weapons (specifically, when commenting on "who would win a fight: Dayne vs. Barristan," where he said, unequivocally, that if Dayne has Dawn, he'll win). Yes, Blackfyre is Valyrian steel, but I'm willing to bet that Dawn is something greater. While this hasn't been stated overtly in the story, Dawn has entirely too many allusions to Excalibur and, probably more notably, Claiomh Solais, a sword from Irish mythology that was pale white. It's been said that once it's drawn, it's unbeatable in combat. Through these mythological connections, we can infer with some good certainty that Dawn is above and beyond even Valyrian steel.

Dawn is so special that it's not even passed through heredity alone. It's only gifted to the Sword of the Morning, a position which we know little of the requirements but know that someone being given this title is very rare indeed. Whatever training or qualifications it takes to wield a literal space sword (which is probably magical and/or the original Lightbringer), I'll take that guy any day over Daemon Blackfyre in a duel.

Keep in mind, a lot of Dayne’s hype is due to the fact that he lived recently and was also a superb example of a chivalrous knight. He wasn’t just a great swordsman but he was also kind to the small folk and well liked.

Aight I’m about to be that guy. I’m about to explain to everyone up in here why Daemon Blackfyre is the man to kick out Arthur Dayne.

So Daemon is one of the most insane Targaryen warriors of all time if not straight up the most insane. He was a huge and strong man similar to Maegor, he wielded Blackfyre just like Maegor, and his sheer hype is batshit insane.

One of Daemon’s loyalists said he was “the warrior himself” when wielding Blackfyre (the warrior is the ASOIAF God of War), and also stated that Daemon was a superior warrior to Aemon the Dragon Knight, who lived in the same era as Daemon so this is a pretty reliable quote.

Daemon fought the greatest dual in the history of Westeros with Gwayne Corbray of the Kingsguard, who was wielding a Valyrian Steel blade. Daemon was also a vanguard warrior who personally (along with his men) shattered the front lines of an Arryn’s vanguard formation.

So Daemon Blackfyre was called “the Warrior himself”, was said to be a superior warrior to Aemon the Dragon Knight, and fought (and won) the greatest dual of all time.

Now Arthur is superb, but the main reason I think Arthur is objectively inferior to Daemon is that we know that Arthur fought against Prince Rhaegar in tournaments numerous times. Which to me implies he was not consistently defeating Rhaegar.

Rhaegar is a superb warrior, but he in no way has the sheer hype of Daemon Blackfyre. No way, no how. Let’s pull a huge upset and kick Arthur Dayne out!!!

Has Dayne slain any notable foes or defeated a famous knight that we know of or do we only have the hype statements?
The Smiling Knight who was a legendary outlaw who could clash with young Jaime. Dayne defeated him in a duel seemingly without much effort.

Dayne was mentioned by Martin to be his first choice for a trial by combat. Martin also said that with regular weapons a fight between him and Barriston is a toss-up, but Dayne would defeat him if he is vielding Dawn. And overall he was potrayed in the series as the best of Aerys' kingsguard.

Arthur did lost to Rhaegar in tournaments, but if I recall it was in jousting, not in melee.

How good was Corbray himself? Is there any feats for him?
Daemon is like 0.01% stronger than this dude so how would Corbray compare with the Hound or a Jamie?
Put it to you this way: the sounds of their blows clashing could be heard for miles on end. And Corbray was Kingsguard.

Also, Arthur Dayne was said to have had a prolonged duel with the Smiling Knight. Does that mean Arthur is only barely stronger than the Smiling Knight?

Regardless, Arthur being unable to prove superiority to Rhaegar as a warrior is pretty damning.
