Future Events G2 and G3 are practically useless now.

They will never be useless.

They're more energy efficient moves for Luffy now, and the more his mastery over his DF Awakening grows, the better he'll get at managing his energy.

Luffy will always have a use for a burst of G2 or use for G3.

Goku hasn't stopped using Kaioken or lower forms of Super Saiyan just because he's got Ultra Instinct, has he? It's the same for Luffy. His arsenal isn't shrinking, it's multiplying exponentionally. He'll have different levels of intensity and precision to dial for all of his attacks.

All of this happening is very much a good thing for Luffy. The more casually he uses G4 the better, it's just a sign of how much stronger and better he's becoming.

They'll be used for Mid Tiers when base is not enough, and Luffy doesn't bust out awakening or ACoC.

He used an Elephant move against the giant.
luffy is at a point when base is enough for non tp tiers even lucci. but if base is not enough he would use partial g4 or straight to g5 like he did against the snake and lucci

Luffy was toying with G5.

If he wanted to, and more importantly, if Oda wanted to make the, Luffy is at the level where he could easily oneshot Lucci in base, low diff.

One Haki infused blow to the gut, which Luffy can land at will, and Lucci is gasping for air before passing out.

There isn't any Logic behind Luffy using gears

Realistically speaking a way weaker Luffy koed that giant superior (Hajrudin) with a G2 move so G4 should killed that Guy

The snake should have be reduced into dust

So just expect Luffy to use G5 against everyone as long as Oda wants it
The more he uses the Gears, the better he gets at using them.

G4 and G5 are still his two least used forms. It makes perfect sense to me for Luffy to be spamming them the same way he spammed G2 and G3. The more he uses them, the better he gets at using them. Experience leads to more efficient use of energy.

At some point, Luffy will be able to switch to Bound Man and Snake Man with limited wasted energy.

Better yet, maybe Luffy's continued use of G4 will lead to the creation of more forms.

I could go for a base Luffy using Rhino Schneider :goyea:

Maybe his Python move will gain sentience:usoprice:

I don't mind Luffy fazing the gears out, shows his mastery. But I'll always love his first sequences going steamy/bouncy :doffytroll:

But I also think G2 & maybe 3 will start to be passed onto others through G5. Would love to see a cola fueled G2 Franky:fransuper: or a Giant freaking out over their GIANT fist

G5 has nothing to do with G3. It's a different mode.

G5 allows Luffy to use Looney Tunes power, so he can basically do whatever he wants to. He becomes Nika the clown.

G3 is just him making his body parts bigger by blowing air into it.
G5 also seems to use G4 mechanism just fine, so this mode can use everything as long as Luffy's imagination isn't limited.

The form that rag dolled Kaido is useless now:suresure:
I did not say they are useless power level wise. I said they will be useless story wise (with the way oda draw fights).

if the villain is strong enough to tango with g2/3- why not just use partial g4 or g5 to defeat the opponent easier.
