This is wrong, he can be a future ally but there is clearly a conflict coming with Luffy vs Loki.
Oda portrayal Loki as strongest Giant so far and he got massive hype.
You don't make such a character a ally, that is like saying Kaido(power lvl wise) would join the strawhats in elbaf as ally. That don't make sense, then you need to show a character who is even stronger than Loki and a insane strong army if he joins the strawhats as ally this arc.

Zephyr was also friendly and smiled with Luffy, also act good, yet they fought each other.

If you make Loki a ally for Elbaf>You need to show even a stronger character than Loki...

Dude killed his father, took a legendary df(which Oda clearly want to show), want to destroy Elbaf and call himself the sun god.

From this chapter, there's an enormous difference in power between Loki and the other giants. He must have some attacks that are absolutely, freaking busted. Factor in that he ate a "legendary" df as well...

Loki’s design is pretty clean not gonna lie.
If his backstory and mo are well written
then he could be a very interesting character ^^

Also, on the Sun God ting, fact that Loki is saying he is the "Sun God" and that he wants to destroy the world I think could be an indication that he'd be come an ally.

Iirc the giants also worship Nika and have prolly been waiting for him for the longest so maybe Loki just got tired of it and decided to take up the responsibility himself. Might have rebelled coz of the Giants' passive position to the WG.

Lastly, don’t know if it’s already been brought but I think Loki could potentially have the mythical Zoan fruit ‘Surtur’ not just coz of the nature of the myth with Sutur being a flaming giant but also the fact that Hajrudin particularly went after the Mera Mera on Dressrosa.
