Such a pain in the ass. The best part is you can't complain to the government, because both "sides" are the ones sending you the bullshit adds you hate.
Sometimes I wonder if one side will send you fake spam from the other side just to convince you to not vote for them.
More worried the election is just a distraction, and the government is going to try to cause a disaster no matter who wins.
People focus way too much on the public vs the public.
This is multiple groups of crazy rich people vs a few groups of intelligent badly funded people.
Only crazy rich people have the power to push what the narratives we see daily in the news, people with sensible money aren't creating these narratives.

It's how you know the "wealthy" politicians are actually poor.
They make money off of using the government to take money from people with less than them.
The entire reason they're having problems getting political funding, is because the people they use to steal wealth from are already poor because of them. US politicians aren't getting funding BECAUSE they've already stolen that much money from the people who actually do work.
That's why so many of them are buying property in other countries. They're ready to run once they finish destroying America/Europe.

I think we're gonna get a similar situation from the midterms and polling is gonna be way off.
Usually, your polling is only accurate if you can predict what groups will be voting and in what numbers they'll do so. If by any chance the young female vote comes out in droves due to abortion, then we're probably looking at a result that won't be particularly close.

I think the dissolution of Israel is an impractical goal and pro Palestine people need to stop pushing for it.
Ultimately any long term peace solution in the Middle East requires the support of both parties, and almost no Israelis would support dissolving the state.
Also while I don’t think anti-zionism is inherently antisemitism, I do think that the pursuit of anti-Zionist goals inevitably leads to antisemitism. You are essentially forced to take actors like Iran and its proxies as allies. While also putting yourself at odds with the vast majority of the Jewish community.
I think the two state solution is really the only way forward because it’s the only thing you have significant Jewish/israeli support for.
There are obviously immense challenges with this. Netanyahu clearly doesn’t want to give the Palestinians a state.
But I feel like it’s in the realm of possibility.
Right now “From the river to the sea” just feels like if one were to try to elect a black man as president when slavery was still legal.

I disagree with the idea that if you are anti-zionist ideology then you have to take the state of Iran as an ally, there are so many socialists and communists that do not take the state of China or the state of Cuba as allies, but in that discussion, even as enemies, and same with there being other socialist territories that hold those two states as enemies,

An individual antizionist might not support Iran, but the movement as a whole does further the Iranian agenda.
This is a big reason why something like BDS will never gain traction. Why the west always supports Israel no matter what. Because radically opposing Israel benefits nations hostile to the west.
Perhaps it would be good to be at peace with the Ayatollah. But that’s not the world we live in and hence we need to work within our current frameworks to get anything accomplished.
