When Lyle Crackenhall said he would have dealt with the Hound, Jaime was like nah man that guy should very much worry you. As both men were large and powerful, but the Hound was much quicker and more savage than Lyle. When it comes to Maelys, both his utterly crazy strenght and savagery were famous. This was clearly a fearsome man and his death put huge fame on Selmy's name.

I think Meleys is probably capable of matching either Clegane. And when fighting next to this guy there's the Black Dragon himself, one of the finest warriors in Westeros history, that seals my vote for the throne pretenders.

Jk but Lewyn is clearly the weak link here. Considering he was made kingsguard in large part because of politics (to stay close to his sister and be an ear at court for Dorne, and to be used as another bargaining chip for the crown) his actual skills aren't put on a pedestal
