I will never forgive Oda
‎‎‎
I only saw the Kizaru part.

Bro someone needs to make a Kizaru megathread, this dude is insane. He was toying with G4 Snakeman, and confirmed actively throwing against G5 and still had Luffy at his absolute limit gassed out.

Kizaru is absolutely mental. No wonder this mfer was casual about intercepting Kaidou and BM.

@God Buggy
Kizaru top 1 back on the market :myman:
the Kizaru part is the craziest, how humiliating is it that you need your opponent to get you back into fighting shape ? :kobeha::kobeha:
To give you the tl;dr, Fujitora is a confirmed war criminal and former military chief.

Greenbull is a former cop thrown in jail.

The only one who can beat me is me
i repeat again. this oda shit with neutral\kinda good admirals (fuji, kuzan, kizaru now) is bad sign for admiral wankers in future
Depends, it just means Admirals might not be intended to really go down. They will just be these absurdly strong side characters with their presence, barring probably Akainu.

Admirals were always just that tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if Oda never had any intention of an Admiral falling. From a power level perspective it's probably a safer route than falling to some scrubs in the future like BM did to Law and Kidd. But it also means we might not get to see all of their abilities, ever.

Bogard

You can't win
It's the same song and dance with him, before G5 it was G4, before G4 it was G3. He always needs to cheat/dope to fight at his opponent's level. Luffy fans thought he was stronger than Doffy in Dressrosa, they thought he was stronger than Katakuri after WCI, they thought he was stronger than Kaidou after Wano.

But there's no doubt his haki mastery has changed that, or atleast should have changed that. He's still a top tier outside of G5 thanks to his feats and portrayal against Kaidou, Kizaru is just Luffy's worst nightmare since he is on a strict timelimit in his fastest state.
To be fair, I think Oda was more flexible in the scuffle between Luffy and Kizaru because it wasn't a battle to death(Luffy was fighting with the intent to stall / keep Kizaru at bay while Kizaru was conflicted in the thought of killing a former friend).

In a serious battle against one another, I think it'd have looked different, eventhough I agree that the Luffy drawbacks are terribly even moreso with g5 imo whose limits are random

Aramaki is definitely losing though.

Arcane has broken me for the wrong reasons.
Rayleigh the gigachad confirmed??

:steef:
I guess Blackbeard being scared of him makes more sense now? Roger's right hand man really is a monster? Seeing what Roger did to Oden and what Shanks is capable of too, it does make me wonder about Rayleigh's true strength/power....He was moving like lighting towards Kizaru too!

We've seen how much of a MONSTER Garp is now as us true believers always believed he was (KOL must really be depressed now lmao) and Garp said hes at HALF of his prime strength too! Rayleigh is probably about the same, despite still being so capable, strong and fit like Garp is, so whatever we see now is just half of his prime potentially!

I had immense hype for the Roger Pirates since day 1 of reading this story, I always tried to imagine how insanely strong the Pirate King himself was, the legend, the man himself and I guess Oda is holding back showing us for a reason....But it begs the question if Garp who was twice as strong as he is now and Roger was THAT strong too, HOW FUCKING STRONG WAS XEBEC THEN!? No wonder he had 3 future Yonkos and Shiki under his command!

IIRC Wang Zhi had to be taken down by Blackbeard, Law and Koby! All 3 of them?! So how powerful is WangZhi?! I wonder if he originally had the island fruit that Pizzaro has now too? Feels fitting?

Oda is hiding Blackbeards true strength/power level from us too, giving all his wins be offscreen too....

If look to Stampede too, Blackbeard was terrified of Bullet, Roger brutally beat Bullet many times BUT Bullet was equal to Prime Rayleigh IIRC? Or at least current Rayleigh ofc? But Bullet was an ABSOLUTE monster with his awakening too especially!

Fuck man....One Piece is really getting INSANE after all!

Prime Garp was probably Saitama of One Piece except for needing Roger to take down Xebec though LMAO! But still!

We truly were not ready for him
We are not ready for that admiral awakened powers..
Kizaru confirmed to hold himself back and barely show his higher end moves let alone awakening, dude tried his best for Luffy to save Vegapunk yet he failed...

The more Oda stall the first showcase of a awakened logia user, the more broken it will be in the end.
We started with Paramecia awakened powers(the weakest one) then we saw Awakened zoan, you know what is the last and best powers...

Logia be said to be the strongest devilfruit for a reason.
We are not ready for awakened Akainu and awakened Kizaru.
:finally:

Uncle Van

Bullets don't hurt. But Taxes do.
This an AMAZING find holy shit! "Sake Cup Sakazuki" gets more ammunition! Well Sakazuki does mean Sake Cup ofc but still!

Akainus childhood picture says a lot and I can believe him being a bandit/criminal in his youth, maybe not by choice ofc and maybe he was saved and recruited by Garp and grew to idolise him too potentially? Given they both have a dog theme, are fist fighters and devoted to justice "absolutely" too? Oda set up that parallel with Garp wanting to kill Akainu too, which would be far more tragic and personal if what I'm saying is all true too ofc! But I'd love Zephyr to be canon too somehow and a great influence on Kuzan and Akainu at least too ideally...

This song feels so perfect for Akainu too!:

Akainu the true Cerberus/Hades of One Piece maybe even or Surtur especially! Although Blackbeard could be Cerberus/Hades too potentially ofc.

I just asked some AI about Akainu and Hades too:

It's an interesting question to consider whether Hades, the Greek god of the Underworld, fits Akainu's character in One Piece. While at first glance they might seem like a good match, there are some key differences that make this connection less solid than it appears:

Points in favor of the Hades comparison:

  • Ruthless and unforgiving: Both Hades and Akainu are known for their harsh and uncompromising nature. Hades rules the underworld with an iron fist, while Akainu adheres to "Absolute Justice," showing no mercy to those he deems criminals, even if it means sacrificing innocent lives.
  • Imposing presence: Hades is often depicted as a stern and powerful figure, inspiring fear and respect. Similarly, Akainu's magma powers and unwavering resolve make him an intimidating presence in the One Piece world.
  • Association with death: Hades is the god of the dead, and Akainu's magma fruit gives him the power to inflict fatal burns, essentially consigning his opponents to a fiery demise.
Points against the Hades comparison:

  • Lack of emotional detachment: While Hades is often portrayed as stern and unyielding, he is not necessarily devoid of emotions. He displays anger, love, and other emotions in various myths. Akainu, on the other hand, seems driven purely by his rigid sense of justice, with little room for emotional considerations.
  • Active vs. passive role: Hades is primarily concerned with maintaining order in the underworld and judging the dead. He rarely interferes in the affairs of the living. Akainu, in contrast, is an active force in the world, pursuing his "justice" with relentless zeal.
  • Moral ambiguity: Hades, while stern, is not inherently evil. He maintains balance in the cosmos by ruling the realm of the dead. Akainu's "Absolute Justice" is more morally ambiguous, as it often leads to morally questionable actions and collateral damage.
Overall:

While Akainu shares some traits with Hades, such as ruthlessness and an association with death, he lacks the emotional complexity and passive nature of the Greek god. Akainu's unwavering commitment to his own brand of justice, even at the cost of innocent lives, makes him a more complex and morally ambiguous figure than the god of the underworld.

Perhaps a better mythological comparison for Akainu could be found in figures like the Furies, who relentlessly pursue and punish the guilty, or even a fire deity like Vulcan, known for his destructive power and association with volcanoes. These figures better capture Akainu's fiery nature and his relentless pursuit of those he deems deserving of punishment.

There is so much potential with the Admirals, just like how amazing they have made the story so far as well as some other Marine characters ofc but I hope Oda doesn't drop the ball with them! I'm trying to have faith that somehow he will do them "Justice" truly by the end of the story.

:emohiyo:
Don't forget Smoker. He's similar to Garp and Akainu as well.

We always speculate Sakazuki heading out to sea accompanied by 1 or 2 Admirals alongside a couple formidable Vice Admirals, but if he goes solo? That'd be next level badass
The Marines themselves resemble a yakuza when they have their meetings. Seeing how there are 2 key Marines in the race for OP(Akainu and Coby who directly opposes the other when it comes to justice), we might get another "falling out of the family" as Marines turn on each other to create their own factions(likely just 2).

The WG and Marines got way too much firepower so this could be a way to even the odds for the final war. There's always new allies afterall.

I won't hype katakuri or kaido if their win or dominance is dud to getting beaten and dealing zero damage to Luffy ,not even dominating even with help

That's no W to hype

This is why I don't hype Doffy
He and Kizaru are the same : can't damage G4, can't do a thing to Luffy but loses badly or get overpowered ...all they can do is hope Luffy runs out of his gear

Enjoy "kizaru same level as yonko cause he woke up and fed Luffy" hype
Whatever Nudle. You're way too obsessed with power levels. Most of us are talking about character and potential plot points, and you show up with power level agenda.
