It's been 15 years since Mihawk was drawn doing anything. Oda does not care for this character much and I don't know why he'd make such an irrelevant character stronger than his favorite character lol. Especially when he made sure to make their duels ambiguous.

Best case scenario for both characters I think shanks might similar to Blackbeard in which they have matchup advantages against devil fruit users

Like mihawk being as strong as he is without a fruit is going to do good against but he’d struggle a lot more against the admirals or emperors due to the fact he doesn’t have anti devil fruit hax

As for the if shanks is a swordsman or not convo because of king it could really be as simple as he just doesn’t consider himself a swordsman and doesn’t have an actual sword style. Could oda do the opposite and confirm him to be a swordsman instead? Yeah sure but he’s given himself so much room of excuses to have shanks not be limited to the whole wss title lol for better or worse

A CP0 Agent wanting to take Linlin and train her =/= the Linlin we saw.

Linlin also was never given a 5B bounty. So I'm not sure why she'd be relevant here, we didn't see Cipher Pol's Linlin.

Honestly after Kizaru's nerfed egghead showcase, we might be seeing a repeat of what happened with G4. Lot of people thought G4 was Admiral lvl during Dressrosa, and then it got humbled against Cracker, let alone Katakuri.

I'm not completely sold as I was anymore on G5 being leagues above everyone else, it managed to land like 1 attack on a distracted Kizaru the entire fight, an attack that is like the strongest attack Luffy has thrown outside of BG and Kizaru still only faked being downed, he was ok enough to perception blitz everyone on the island including Luffy after taking it.

I dont think its leagues above everyone else but I think its clearly a level above

We already saw what Linlin's bounty had and maybe in a parallel universe, raised and trained by the marines, she would be worth that. But we didn't get that Linlin. We already saw what Oda thinks of her and how he rates her, given the abundance of screen time he showed her.

You said that even if Kaido and BM has gotten higher bounties if their alliance got into fruitarian that still isn't evidence that it'll be higher then WB and Roger.

But you already acknowledge that a parallel universe BM would be worth that.

I also want to throw out that we also have Kaido, who was now taken the mantle of WSP from WB, to be considered the next most dangerous threat.
