They literally were, from their feats to who they interacted with, nothing in Marineford showed that Kizaru was weaker than them. All we saw what that Akainu justice was more bloodlusted than them where he was willing to kill Koby and the pirates compared to the rest of the admirals.

Kuzan will just freeze the air around him to slow him down because Cold is the ultimate counter to speed and Sakazuki will just boil the world around him so it doesn’t matter how fast Kizarus going he’s still getting hurt.

How do you freeze areas that are unfreezable? Kizaru most of time is above the ground. When has Kuzan or Akainu showed CoO feats to suggest that they can keep up with someone that is going at the speed of light?
