WSG maybe be weaker than over kong gun. The main thing luffy gains from G5 compared to G4 is much higher endurance where he can take attacks like death destroyer without any issues or spit Kizaru's light attacks. He also gets more flexibility other than that.
Bajrung gun for now is the exception of an attack which luffy has done till now in G5. Simply shows what kind of an attack was needed to put down an already tired Kaido.
I don't see how he beats admirals like Kizaru. BG aside which isn't landing on Kizaru he can't bring Kizaru fast enough in G5 due to its time limit. He is definitely below Kizaru for now. I am not sure if this scales to other admirals like kuzan or fuji though.
For that matter any top tier can probably out last one round of G5. BM maybe one the few top tiers where luffy may win without G5. Even than its debatable whether he can defeat BM without G4/G5.
