Was revealed in Oda s 10 questions where it was revealed he copied Roger s divine departure
We see a flashback of buggy where roger praises shanks and gives him his hat with shanks having his sword out that s the moment he learned it
This also implies Shanks def copied many Roger s skills
Shanks fought with Roger s swordskills and ended up below Mihawk
"Superior swordskills" this is big hype for Mihawk because it confirms Mihawks swordsmanship is above Rogers

That only strengthen why Shanks can be > Mihawk, just like Roger > Mihawk while Roger wasn't WGS.

Kamusari style is special for only Roger and Shanks, and somehow Kamusari style didn't make Roger WGS. Why it should make Shanks WGS?

Mihawk fought shanks many times and awaits for a swordmaster above shanks who has roger s swordskills

If he can copy Roger's move with one look i am sure he can also opy Mihawks moves too. The way i see it Shanks is more like a Kings haki expert though he uses a sword.

Did Mihawk beat Shanks who you think Mihawk's greatest swordsman rival? No.

Then how did Mihawk become WGS without beating his greatest swordsman rival? By showing superior sword skills, Shanks can be stronger than Mihawk, while Mihawk can be more skilled with sword. Thats what WGS mean.

If Roger was alive you think Mihawk wouldn't be WGS? Lmao. Roger > Mihawk, and Mihawk would still be WGS.

Shanks has greater Haki potential, Ad.CoC and future sight etc, Kamusari is no touch Haki technique, Shanks has best potential to replicate Roger.

Mihawk never showed this, all he showed sword techniques and skill, skill difference was mentioned recently for a reason.

Zolo literally asks Mihawk if he cut the ship, then Mihawk says yes, and Zolo understands he must be the WGS. :suresure:

Zolo novel has something similar to that, Mihawk must be WGS because he cut Iceberg. Zolo trying to duel and becoming WGS is a short cut for him, Zolo himself knew Mihawk didn't need to beat 2nd best swordsman, he just needed to cut giant objects to be WGS.

Mihawk didn't beat Shanks, if he did, Mihawk wouldn't be talking about ''settling things''.

I don't know why you even waste your time arguing with Erkan.

All anybody needs to do to understand how Oda view WSS is to look at Zoro's journey. Unlike the PK which is a race to the final island and not a solo journey, the WSS title is. If Zoro wants to the WSS he has to proves he is stronger than Mihawk by beating him in battle.
