Cross Guild deliberately targets marines. Sword are the marine good guys.
We saw that Drake was bandaged in the marine hospital. Yet Shanks defeated Bartolommeo 1 month ago. This is despite Bart not being defeated when Shanks was at Wano.
What this means is that Drake’s injuries must have occurred post wano. Someone must have attacked him, which is why he was absent during the hachinosu raid. My guess is it was cross guild. Apoo probably exposed Drake and they put a bounty on his head.
This will lead to a Sword vs Cross Guild war, where Cross Guild is ultimately defeated imo. Mihawk of course, won’t be defeated, but with Croc and Buggy gone, the crew will be finished.
I think this will happen because ultimately, Mihawk is Zoro’s final fight and it makes no sense for him to be allied with Buggy. Rather it would make far more sense if Mihawk ultimately joined the Blackbeard pirates. That’s what I think could potentially happen.
Shiryu is a bum and we’ve seen he’s absolutely nothing to a top tier. I think he could get killed off, possibly by Law or Beckman, with Mihawk replacing him once Cross Guild is dissolved.
I think the main Cross Guild matchup would go something like this:
Mihawk vs Sengoku
Crocodile vs Grus and Koby
Hanafuda vs Drake
Moria vs Helmeppo
Sengoku and Mihawk will draw, with Mihawk choosing to leave after his allies are defeated. I think this loss for Cross Guild will parallel Shanks’s defeat to Teach at the end of Elbaf.
