I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but:

Redon mentioned that, yesterday's gif is simply a gif from the last episode of the anime, and thus has nothing to do with the chapter.

"According to the One Piece page on MANGA Plus and the message at the end of chapter 1,131, it seems that One Piece will be on hiatus for another 2 WEEKS This time, as it was not officially announced in Shonen Jump, it could be a break due to Eiichiro Oda's health reasons "

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

His manga should be his number one prio, that is how everything start.
He risk anything and waste to something like OPLA who is my opinion not even 1% of what makes One Piece manga...

He is old, the mangakas work them to death and what they make with Oda?
Work more projects..

Such a project coast lot of energy and time.
Dude has also many other projects...

Let him just finish his fucking manga who is his dream in first place.
Fuck off Opla and any other stuff, I don´t care for them.

Oda biggest dream is his manga and this one surfer right now because of all other projects..

This is fucking injuman what Shonen and other concern doing with Oda...
The fact Oda cares more about OPLA rather than writing the huge reveal of Akainu's 5B bounty in actual manga seems hurt, playa :josad:

He obviously could to it, countwise. It's the content that has me worried. 30 pages a month of just padding and cheap cliffhangers that are forgotten by the next installment? That would kill the enthusiasm of even the most avid readers.
My hope is that being limited by a monthly page count would make Oda skips unecessary padding like pages on characters running or panels of fodders reacting to focus on the meat of the story and maybe limiting the number of side characters getting involved. One can dream

That's just what we get but instead of it being weekly, it's monthly
That's what I'm saying. It's a horrible pace, but people are lenient to it in hopes that next week will be better, and when a "sudden" break happens, oh, well, nobody could forsee that.
But month in, month out of this? It'd kill any goodwill left in the fans.

If you do a switch from weekly to monthly, then you better fatten up those chapters with juicy pages and plot points for the community to hang onto during the breaks.
