I feel like his attitude suddenly changed after the US election for whatever reason
This might be a somewhat legit observation but it's only based on me talking to one or two persons I think.

Thread got stormed by Trump supporters and people thinking he ain't that bad.

I've seen the election result coming by a mile a week before with the swing states polls so I wasn't even shocked or what.

In 2016 I was shocked tbh, didn't know the US well, but now I'm so deeply chill

Uugh...hopefully is not another one of the "anyone who doesn't despise Trump 24/7 must love the guy" people...
No, and Trump doesn't even live rent free in my head btw. I think what you guys call the "reddit reactions" are pathetic people

Do you want a clown like him making decisions alongside the president of the US when he has private interests of his own?

He is not an elected official. It is deeply concerning seeing a billionaire attending these important meetings between the president elect and other world leaders.
I meant to ask why was he in the conversation,

For @Uncle Van our old pal

Sarcastic tonne and kinda legit

Just funny, but it came from "a serious source"

Well I'm sure his economical policies had leverage in the votes. But you can't ignore all the rest

We just know you Van, we know you.

Pure sarcasm, it's obviously making the rich richer
Im still trying to figure out your reason to reply and your point. It only makes sense if you for some reason assumed I said or believe economic disparity was the only reason people voted. You also insinuate that I support Trump economics.

Majority of my posts are also about history so your comment about me only wanting to discuss economy as some sort of "gotcha!" was also random and strange.
Not you, but they often do it to me and to logiko even when he’s being reasonable.

All I’m saying is that I want to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I do think you hold a lot more contempt for users like solis than for people like nameless and ravager, who lie and gaslight others to oblivion just for the sake of their narrative, which is basically just their hatred for liberals and anything that resembles left-wing ideas.
Ravager and Nameless don't direct it towards me. Logiko and Solis does it 24/7 so obviously I'm inclined to call them out a lot more. I called Rav and Nameless out a few times before when it came to leftism. I even recall Rav losing his cool with me one time.

Listen, that’s just my perspective. I really do see a lot more charitably from you toward the anti-left users.

I would like to say about what @Daniel mentioned too, democrats may be left of republicans, but compared to social democrats, marxists, and democratic socialists, they are really right wing, and I get calling democrats left of republicans, but when you group the democratic party in with other leftists, I think a pretty big difference is seen,

Besides the economic proposals, the democratic party was alrighty with beating up just people who protested the state of Israel's destruction of palestinians,

I think it sucks just being a billionaire itself, imagine being able to press a few buttons and radically improve the world, but you don't,

Walk by children and unfortunate people with billions of dollars net worth,
Humans are inherently self serving. When you have one private citizen hold so much economic power, they'll inevitably become corrupted by it.

You can't trust one single person with the redistribution of wealth. That's one of the main reasons we have a government in the first place.

I'm not a democrat, I'm well aware that they're center-right.

Like alrighty the democratic party is left of the republican party, but I think you can group leftists in two groups, the democratic party, and every other type of leftist, and the two groups have a lot of big differences,

The workers make up all the revenue anyway, helping them organise frees up way more resources especially in the long term than taking a billionaire's money, which is just an expression of the work already done by those workers,

if you're more or less just having fun then cool bro

It only makes sense if you for some reason assumed I said or believe economic disparity was the only reason people voted.
It is 100% objective that the #1 driving force behind votes is the economy.
Well you kinda said that and some other comments. And then belittled the racism and sexism, insinuating that we shouldn't talk about it maybe ?

But okay, your opinion is clearer. That's why we're talking.

You also insinuate that I support Trump economics.
I have no idea if you support Trump economics. Where is my insinuation ?

I thought you agreed that trickled down economics was a scam.

Majority of my posts are also about history so your comment about me only wanting to discuss economy as some sort of "gotcha!" was also random and strange.
Nevertheless you love economics don't you ? We always see you dropping definitions of economical schools of thoughts and all.

I was just being sympathetic like "we know you dude".
