Controversial Is dating really as hard as some people say it is?

Voluntarily. I barely leave my home during weekends.
Bro, you shouldn't spend your whole life being a homebody. It may be regrettable.
The world out there is full of great places to go, great people to meet and great things to do. To have all these things in your life, you need to have the willpower and take action to make them a reality.
Start by being able to groom yourself regularly so that you always look your best, and have everything in order in your life, including your daily routine. So take action to put yourself out there: Get your dream career/job, include hobbies that you love wholeheartedly in your routine, and also activities like going to social events, traveling internationally and doing fun things in the places you travel to.
Of course, to do this, you need to significantly reduce your time on the internet to focus on your real life. Jew D Boy and Light have been doing this for a while now, so why can't you ?
I am working to accomplish these things in my life. The pace is slow, as I have not yet reached my autonomy as an adult, but as a great quote I read said: "Don't rush, but don't waste time either."
You don't want to grow old, realize how boring your life was, and live in regret until you die, do you ? So get up and go after your fulfillment right now.
@MonochromeYoru (I'm tagging you because I read you saying in Toby D Dog's thread that you're wasting your time to be productive by being an anime/manga addict. Everyone deserves to be happy, so my advice might help you.)

I'm going to be nice to you cause you said you were autistic. I'm spending my spare time at home due to health reasons. Don't preach to me ever again. You don't know about my life circumstances. Your post is extremely rude and judgmental.

Not particularly anything different than I've already said on this thread. My only new advice is to not listen to people who don't have relationships - both PUA and long-time single individuals. Having a fulfilling partnership is different than one night stands and casual flings.

Here here. I do plenty of things I dislike for her; and she for me. Ultimately, that is what having a partnership is about.

Your objection comes from a heavy-handed response to the word "slave". To serve one another like a slave would be to do anything, regardless if it's what you want, to ensure your partner is happy. Do you think I enjoy having to constantly carry everything? Go on long walks after a hard day at work when I just want to sleep, all because she wants to feel safe outside at night? Sometimes it can be nice; but it can also be burdensome. I willingly do it for her as her needs are more important than my own to me. Some would call that serving as if a slave; but it's different, as it's a mutual dedication to each other's needs/desires.

🙁 🙁 🙁 Oh,sorry. I didn't know. Are you getting the right treatment ?
I just thought you weren't having any fun in life. I read advice for this type of problem recently and intend to follow it.
👨‍⚕️ 👨‍⚕️ 👩‍⚕️ I hope you can recover completely and enjoy your life. 🕊️ 🕊️ 🕊️ Sorry for offending you.

Generally speaking this is a good advice. But life circumstances might prevent such things, like some kind of illness, lack of money or temporarily saving money to reach a certain objective. Most things, not all, require that you spend money. If you want to, let's say, travel internationally to a far away destination, you need to save a ton of money, and with that you can find yourself deprived of some outdoors activity so you can reach said objective. Also economic conditions by country will influence how much you're able to spend on hobbies. Then again, bar health issues, there's no reason to not go for a walk, or take some time in nature even if you're saving money for smth.

But I agree in a general sense with this.
