Thats is EXTREMELY ironic given Oda wanted to go on around the world cruise when hes 50 after completing One Piece by then as he planned/wanted to and he turns 50 on New Years Day next year....

Theres no way it OP could be ending next year according to what Oda said a few years ago? Even Naito the Carrot pervert himself was acknowledging it? The only way I can see it is it ends on a cliffhanger, like how Sabaody felt it was meant to (although we did get like a 4-6 week break for One Piece then and thus the timsskip and solo Luffy arcs ofc) or and we get a speedrun, brutally cut short ending like Bleach got?
Ironically One Piece fans have been clowning Bleach for over a decade for getting axed and having the most underwhelming nad truncated finale too.
Oda also said here OP is not gonna end anytime soon though and thats a far more realistic, believable scenario too ofc:

Ugh, I hate the fucking Rinnegan. When it first started out, the Sharingan allowed for super focus and learning Jutsu from observation, and then the Byakugan allowed for quasi-x ray vision and near 360* vision.
And this stupid thing gives like twenty powers, almost none of them actually based on vision!
