You think Shanks would get same treatment if he went to Hachinosu? Or to Whitebeard? Mihawk tried to fight WB failed, but when Shanks went to WB, he directly fought him.

Even Big Mom without her crew was captured by Queen due to cheap-shot, Kaido still went to fight her 1 v 1. Different portrayal.

Before reaching a Yonko, one has to go through an entire crew filled with ''strong people'' and even if one manages to beat them all, he would be tired (not 100% to the very least).
It has veen stated numerous times that a Yonko is hard to reach because of how massive and/or strong their crews are.

no he couldn't garp just doesn't the stamina to fight multiple Blackbeard pirates at the same time like that. He isn't Aoikiji who is younger nor does he have any great aoe attacks to incapacitate multiple people. Garp is facing these pirates with only his haki and physical strength alone.
