@NikaInParis @Buusatan94 you guys think the pacing for Bloodline storyline is rushed?
The whole Roman, Jey and Sami Zayn on same page again feels VERY rushed. Nothing significant happened but boom, suddenly they are on good term again with Roman.

Which is kinda sus..
I don't want this to happen but I think there is a chance Sami is gonna turn on Roman at Wargames.
Him being on good term with Roman doesn't really believeable (at least with Jey, we know they are real family and had history longer).
It is gonna be a mirror of 2022 Wargames.
2022 Wargames: the Bloodline didn't fully trust Sami yet but then Sami proved his loyalty.
2024 Wargames: Bloodline trusts Sami real fast but then Sami turns on them.
Speaking 2022 Wargames, honestly I prefer it than this year Wargames. The pacing felt better back then. Better, stronger, more memorable promo too at 2022: Roman giving Sami Honorary Uce shirt was peak.
Now it feels rushed.

Don't you think the promo gone too far today?

Thoughts about Bronson Reed and CM Punk as 5th member? Do you think someone will turn in Wargames?
I like Bronson, he fits with Solo's team. CM Punk is kinda meh imo, wished Heyman come back with 5th member (instead of Seth Rollins) but wished it was Brock instead of CM Punk.

Thoughts about Final Testament + Miz vs Wyatt Six?
I think Wyatt Six will win the overall feud, otherwise their momentum is ruined. But also Karion Kross already got losing streak. He and Scarlett are pretty good.
Nah, the promo was great. They needed some depth to their act.

I think we have the oposite view here lol - I don't really care for Bronson either way. And imo him and Jacob on the same team is overkill since both basically do the same stuff, tho Jacob is crazier.
As for Punk, I'm excited to see him interact with Roman after basically being responsible for Roman being bood for years due to the Colt Cabana interview (make Roman look strong).

I steer clear of Wyatt Sox content lol, it doesn't do it for me at all. I hope Miz and ig Kross come out of it not worse for wear

Idk if you also were part of Orojackson but both WG and Orojackson were forums mostly oriented on powerscaling and other agenda posting, especially during popular weekly spoilers. There was a fandom called "Luffy defence squad" which intentionally provoked users "against Luffy", then report them to the mods to make them banned. There was also the popular debate about whether Luffy beats Big Mom in WCI. So you can already imagine how the discussions were often getting heated like that.

The mods were on some huge elitist ego trip tho. That's why they banned users for the most trivial reasons. Even @comrade got banned like that.

I get why social media fandoms dislike WG but I also like how people can at least post their criticism - or hatred - to a popular series like One Piece when even some slight criticism would be censored in reddit subs. WG just works like that. It's very similar to OJ because a lot of the former users joined this forum but the mods are way less harsh than in OJ.
Lol I was in the old Luffy Defense Squad. I remember when the leader god completely banned from the forum. T_T. We didn't really report people to get them banned... don't give us a bad rap. At least, I never did it.

I made the bet that BM would go down in WCI like the rest of us and had people deciding my sig for the rest of my time on the forum LOOOOL.

I went by Okamakama back then as well.

This place has the advantage that people can say whatever they want and people can do almost whatever they want, with barely any consequence

I did a lot of forums in the past, goes from gaming (Counter Strike) to One Piece.

I also did Reddit, Discord, Worstgen and Twitter for One Piece.

What I can say is that every platform has its advantages and disadvantages.

Reddit falls very often into circle jerking. Everybody in a group have the same opinion, and they talk to eachother about how much they like that opinion. Don't you dare say something controversial in there. You won't find there a lot of hot takes, at least you won't see them, as it's "natural selection" of what fits the circle jerking.

Discord it heavily depends on the server you are in. /r/OnePiece is just too serious for One Piece unfortunately. The people in there are very great but I saw a lot of people get banned for very little things. It can suit certain people of course to be in such a server. BDA server is the opposite, it's just a big pile of mess and a very wild server where it's difficult to talk. People just shittalk about anything, I saw people dropping very controversial political comments, discriminatory remarks, etc. without getting any consequence.

Worstgen is much better than Reddit and Discord in my opinion. There is barely any circlejerking and the forum is much less serious than /r/OnePiece and less of a pile of shit than BDA Discord Server. You can talk about more things and there can be interesting conversations happening here. The problem is the powerscaling and agendas that are not for everyone. It is also very difficult to hold serious conversations here and interest people with "lore conversations" that do not concern agendas and powerscaling. The forum also doesn't have a very good image and reputation but it has its advantages too.

Twitter to me is more or less like Worstgen in that regard. The level of seriousness and shittalking is more nuanced and contrasted and it heavily depends on who you follow and what the algorithm proposes you. You can have a TL of good Tweets like you can have a TL of shitposts, depends on what the algorithm proposes and who you follow. Problem is the algorithm proposes Tweets that are "trendy" and that fit the algorithm so you will mainly see these and people will mainly be chasing these. You can converse different types of topics but you sense that people don't always post to post (which is normal). You can also get cooked if you post something controversial, catch a wild ratio or whatever so you have to be open to criticism and face opposing opinions but it is much better than being in the Reddit circlejerking.

TL;DR:
- go to Reddit if you just want to spectate or are are a pussy who is afraid of criticism
- go to /r/OnePiece Discord if you are a very serious One Piece connaisseur who wants to have the moral high ground
- go to BDA Discord if you just want to shittalk nonsense that may concern One Piece
- go to Worstgen forum if you prefer more genuine conversations and love discussing agendas and powerscaling
- go to Twitter if you want a feed that is personalized to your preferences and prefer sharing things over discussing stuff

Roman is still seething under all that calmness. It does feel rushed, but I think the real pay off is between him and Jay, and they are still far away from truly resolving their issues.
Imo, they will lose Wargames and the way Roman wins the feud will be through a 6 man tag with the Usos vs Solo, Tama and Jacob. He will have to sincerely eat crow and show by example he isn't the manipulator he was before.
Who knows how long they'll drag it out tbh
The Rock's gotta get involved down the line too

Lol I already liked Bronson since his feud with Braun. They kinda booked Bronson like 2017 or 2018 Braun the Monster Among Men.
As for Punk, I can't really get his hype since his return last year. That's because I never watched WWE during CM Punk era, so I don't really know the guy well.
I remember last time I watched WWE was during DX vs Rated RKO, but then the whole show was banned here in my country. Continued watching again in 2017ish. Solo Roman Big Dog, Braun Monster Among Men vs Miz, King Baron Corbin etc.
Missed Shield days, CM Punk, and prime Wyatt Family days.

Lmao I still remember that days. All happened during Christmas Eve, right?
Comrade, Lee Hung, Zenos and there is 1 more. I was going to church, before ceremony started I decided to check on OJ one last time, only to find 4 people banned for discussing Doflamingo 😂

Cardboard douchebag was the leader?

Like worst gen mods are better :saden:

Yes I also think Roman will lose at Wargames.
Heard somewhere Roman will not appear at all during December. Connecting the dots, he probably got beaten up bad at Wargames, went hiatus just like when he lost championship or after Jacob Fatu wrecked him, and only come back in 2025.
Must be a storyline reason why Roman doesn't appear the whole December.
Do you think Sami gonna turn or not?

Damn, I understand not caring for him then lol
I watched till 2012-13ish then took a break/stopped caring for it till the summer of 2016 I think. Ironically enough a Network show called NXT Breaking Grounds got me back into it.

And, as far as activity here is concern then it's simply because there is lack of events which fuels power scaling.

This forum or even it's predecessor OJ were always more about power scaling and less about story.

Beginning of new arcs especially when it's coinciding with breaks would obviously result into less activity.

Let Elbaf pick up and you will see activity once again.
It’s lack of events period

Like we don’t even know who the villain of elbaf is or how this arc ties into the greater story.
