Peak commander aura was still Zou Jack imo. Bro was so raw.

Zou Jack was a sneak peek to 1 of Kaido's strongest stat: endurance.
But in the end it was shown Jack can't surpass Kaido's endurance and resulted using poison gas.

While King was shown clearly surpassing Kaido's durabilty, no debate between that.

King was peak commander.

Yep but if I look at Wano and especially Egghead, with the way how Oda's just completely butchered the Gorosei, the BMP still had it good. Although Big Mom was quite clowned at the second half of WCI, at least she had an excuse. But Wano Big Mom? It was atrocious.

Wano Big Mom is a prime example of how to not write your antagonists nor your female characters. I am still as disgusted by how Oda treated her as I was back then but you already know that.

It's also one of the reasons why I became so disillusioned with One Piece, the antagonists don't feel like real threats anymore, and their characterization is either bland or butchered.

People disagree but WCi was probably the best arc post timeskip, it had anything and a great insane villian.
Be honest, Katakuri with that background story and character development would be better than Kaido&Big Mom together as Yonkou.

WCi Big Mom was also peak.
Im really sad how Wano destroyed multiple characters and the story..

Everyone thinking how Big Mom Pirates will trick Vinsmoke family, but I thought, nah not happening.
That's what Oda trying to trick how the readers think. I meant, Vinsmoke family was still a family of 1 main character. Probably Ichiji was like Itachi to Sasuke's Sanji.
