How moronic would it be for Crocus to be totally fine with Drinking with the guy who wanted to execute Roger himself. The only ones pushing Shiki are the ones who don’t want Scopper Gaban to be relevant because then their delusion about Sanji not being as important to the story as Zoro would be shattered!

Yes, people can have more than one friend, Roger and Whitebeard also fought a lot and almost killed each other and they had a tea party
Roger and Garp also tried to kill each other numerous times, Roger gave Garp his son
Shiki having a drink with Crocus doesn't seem that far fetched
As for Gabans relevance, relevant or not Shiki is still the cooler character

Roger gave his son Ace to Garp. Whitebeard didn't mind after knowing Ace was Roger's son, contrary to what Ace thought.

Anyway Gaban is Jinbe's counterpart, not Sanji.
Who has third highest bounty in the crew until now, who is the helsman?
If you look at their design, you can also tell Jinbe and Gaban have similar hairstyle.

I don't know, but I don't know exactly what I prefer. Shiki is just a generic villain and at this point a more irrelevant and less successful version of Big Mom and Kaido, the only interesting thing that could come from him is a God Valley flashback.
Gaban doesn't have a character so far, he knows the secrets of the world since he went to One Piece, but obviously he wouldn't say anything, so in the end the only interesting thing that could come are information about God Valley.

Could be neither 💀. Btw those two, Scopper makes more sense to me narrative-wise.
Considering Roger's waiting for joy boy, it'd make sense for a Roger Pirate and not Shiki to be holding on to the last poneglyph so not just anyone can find the ONE PIECE. Don't really see what Shiki brings to the story at this point in time tbh. He wants to get his hands on the Ancient weapons and rule the world, but we already have Blackbeard for that. Just feels like unnecessarily overcrowding the plot and I'd honestly rather Elbaph focus on the giants as opposed it being a side-quest about an Ex-Rocks member that isn't really necessary to the plot but hey! Oda loves adding random characters to the plot just coz 💀

The person's said abilities are very similar to the phenomenon that happened during the battle at Edd War when a sudden hurricane destroyed Shiki's fleet.

Most likely but right now he's just that one Roger pirate with the axes, same as most other Roger pirate
Shiki- Part of rocks, formed a massive armada, was known has a famous rival to Roger(tho i don't think he was as strong) invaded marine ford and tho he lost did major damage, broke out of impel down by cutting off his own legs(fucken metal btw) and has been in hiding for 22 years (not counting strong world)
Gaban- that one guy with axes whose a Roger pirate even in the Roger pirate flashbacks he barely got to show off, meanwhile Roger is tossing out divine departures like hot cakes and Rayleigh is stopping birds with fingers
