You need any type of built up to justify a future fight. Koby won't go from no comment to I'm gonna kill Aokiji. In an entire arc Oda surely could've squeezed in one tiny battle that builds up something, instead, when Koby recovered he said he has to stop Luffy's dream.

I really don't see fuji actually fighting SHs seriously. He helped them in Drssrosa.

Oh, Kuzan is not going down an evil man.
He might clash with Coby and/or Smoker, but his end will come by BB's hands.
He might not even die, but I am certain of one thing: after his betrayal fails and he is wounded, he will run into Robin and she'll assure him that he made the right decision by letting her live.
After her words, Kuzan might die smiling, or it could be the ray of optimism he needs to decide to not succumb to his wounds and keep on living.
