also aint no way real HP gonna cc me

i just realized right

if HP is most important character in the game

and from HP's perspective someone just claimed their role

then by cc'ing youre essentially trading the most important role (which i assume bc he is the main character) for whatever role i have.

Voldemort and Harry are likely the two most important or powerful roles. If I were Harry I wouldn't counter claim so early in the game. That's asking for scum to kill you and gain a big advantage.
I think most of the game would claim or try very badly to hide the fact that they have "info" crying is full of shit.

Why does Crying even take the risk of someone doing it? Everything about this play is silly

I don't think anyone with sense would CC so early with the HP role....

Perhaps he was trying to get mafia to target him or it was a risky mafia play

@Alexis2282AE how did u know Charlie was Hermione? Charlie claims u know they were Hermione
I didn’t know for sure; I was trying to gauge his reaction. In Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Hagrid wins a dragon egg, and Hermione briefly helps care for it before it is smuggled out of Hogwarts by Charlie Weasley’s friends. Stargate18 claimed to be Hagrid. Initially, I thought Charlie might have been Hagrid, but after Stargate’s claim, I reconsidered and concluded that Charlie could possibly be Hermione. I then claimed they were Hermione to observe how Charlie would respond.

The thought process from about 80% of players is gonna be "someone claimed my role, I gotta say something". Assuming most people would react purely logically and wouldn't jump the gun from an emotional standpoint is very charitable

You're mapping out hypothetical behavior in a way that does not reflect how most people react speaking from experience especially here

When someone claims your role there is a very strong impulse to object which you're not accounting for

To add to this, I assumed Charlie was Hagrid because they possessed a dragon egg, which I learned about from the tournament.

The player in question would have to suppress that reaction and not show any signs of attempting to get that information across in a different manner. That excludes 90% of players here. Would sooner assume that if HP exists, they were unaware of any of the above, so there was just no reaction
