Are german news channels a day behind ? Damascus already fell to rebels and Assad ran away since yesterday

rn its SDF (Kurdish forces) vs Rebels, with Israel entering some cities on the borders of the Golan to "fortify".
It was the 2nd video i saw and the longest so i posted it
They also have a live stream
Since Turkey is one of the main backers of the rebels, the ones in Turkey will mostly be sent back (or pushed out).
EU doesn't have that kind of border to do so and there is more incentive for Syrians to stay there than move to the uncertainty in Syria rn, so its likely they'll have to strike a deal with Turkey for that.

I think the most important point though, is whether the new administration in Syria is stable enough for them to even consider going back. When I say "rebels" its talking about multiple factions and who knows what will happen next.
I mean the rebels are mostly islamists, i hope this is actually ending well and that Isis don't return
Why people defend Europe against treaty with Ukraine but don't say anything with the MERCOSUR treaty ?
What's majorly bothering me is the double standard, but that's politics for you🙃

Did I say so? I think not.
You compared me to clown Shcwab(whatever his name is). I'm defending consumer's rights here. There is nothing authoritarian on my takes.

How will the agreement protect European standards, including food safety standards?

The EU's sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) standards are non-negotiable and are not affected by this partnership agreement or any other trade agreement. The decisions that the EU takes to protect its production and its consumers from imported products are underpinned by risk assessments, which are performed by the European Food Safety Authority.

  • EU stringent SPS standards will not change
    • The agreement does not affect or undermine EU sanitary and SPS standards because these are not negotiable, including on genetically modified organisms (GMOs);
    • The EU maintains its right to set maximum levels of residues for pesticides, veterinary medicines or contaminants.
  • The EU remains free to regulate food safety
    • The EU remains fully independent in regulating new SPS standards in the interest of EU citizens' health;
    • The agreement includes the 'precautionary principle', allowing us to take measures to protect the health of EU citizens when the scientific evidence on whether imported food is safe or not is inconclusive. This is expressly mentioned in the chapter on trade and sustainable development.
  • All imported food must comply with the EU's sanitary and phytosanitary standards
    • EU rules apply to all products sold in the EU, whether produced domestically or imported;
    • Our robust system of checks allows us to make sure that EU rules are respected.
Thanks to the agreement, the EU and Mercosur will work more closely with each other, including in the international standard-setting bodies.

Hoping there is auto-translation.

The West actually believing Syria is an enemy to them has to be one of the most successful psyops I have ever seen.

All you have to do is go "RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA!" and these people will justify invading anything.

I'm sure this time, replacing the shitty government with even worse religious terrorists will fix things, just like it worked all the other times.

Nah, Israel/London/Vatican just wants Syria's resources.

Blast need to work on an english translation OR think about opening an english channel.

We are so much ahead in term of political awereness in France (at least in front of the US), I think it's vital for us to spread some teachings.

:yodaswag:
autotranslation works fine.

Well.. unlike America, we refused to put the far right in power.

We will eventually. Macron was doing very well with ruling with them 3 days ago. The reeking French pride. The belief that consists in thinking we’re the most virtuous people on the planet is false but also why the French are called out by literally everyone on earth for this.

Oh yes we will. But not because of the political awareness of the left in France, but because of Macron and the entire fascization of the political field...

Our left and street work is km ahead of what is happening currently in the US where it is pretty much inexistent. On top of that, while there are a few good leftist influence in the US, our left has simply be dealing with a constant requestionning and do not suffer or at least can learn from our problematic tendancies.

Did you know that i hate people? I've been watching some videos of people freed from torture prisons reunite with their families and it's a sight to see. They are so damn happy and rightfully so. But nobody knows what happens now that the islamists are in charge, things might get worse or just as bad, or better for some groups and worse for others, thousands are fleeing because they fear the islamists. Why are humans never at peace? When one tyrant is gone the next is just waiting around the corner. Peace never lasts and hope is in vain.
And humankind will keep existing like this until the end when we all managed to kill each other. It's so sad.
