US are not the only guys with a weapon lobby. Lermany has been in the business for a long time while at the same time restricting accessibility for the citizens.

Where was the boycott divest sanction movement against China when they turned Xinjiang into an open air prison and deported millions to torture concentration camps?
Where is the boycott divest sanction movement against nearly every country with rainforest that not only destroys it at an alarming rate but whose governments are also in bed with organized crime that rapes and kills the local population?
Where is the boycott divest sanction movement against African national parks(a greenwashing industry ) that are run by rich westerners and Emiratis ,established on land stolen from the local population including theft of their livestock, rape murder and shoot on sight policies targeting those that attempt to return to their land to support their livelihoods?
Where is the boycott divest sanction movement against the electric vehicle industry (another greenwashing industry )whose raw materials are mined under abysmal conditions for the workers, poisoning entire ecosystems and wiping out local indigenous and non indigenous communities?
The modern left are filled with hypocrites who only care about their career in the NGO industry and are too scared to speak up against those they consider too powerful. They are either sellouts or outright ignorant and unwilling to inform themselves.
It gets even worse, today we got "progressive" westerners shilling for Islamism and bending backwards to depict the Quran as the beacon of women's rights, human rights and peace. The conflicts in the middle east are 100% proxy war conflicts and dedicating one's sympathy to only one specific side mean allowing oneself to be dragged into this partisan, sectarian mess that only ever blows up into people's faces, there is no winning in this world region, everyone loses long term because it's been turned into a playground for weapon manufacturers and resource thieves. The wise thing to do is to NOT side with a particular faction but to condem the overarching exploitative framework.
