Bro she was in base form, not hybrid relax lol.
Kaidou was also in Hybrid? So the logic checks out that if Hybrid Yamato can make Hybrid Kaidou bleed with AdCoC, then base Yamato given a free shot against base Kaidou with AdCoC, would also atleast draw blood.

She used AdCoC and tickled Greenbull. Pathetic is the only way to describe it. Or, Oda was just trying to show off GB's durability as well. Probably both. Oda doesn't want to give Yamato elite AP, at the same time he was showcasing GB's durability.

Why are you bringing Kaido into this, Im saying she was in base against GB and didnt use a named attack. Against Kaido she was in hybrid and used a named attack.

I dont think base Yamato can use Kaido with a nameless attack. GB took it well but you cant gauge her max ap from that.

I don't believe in named attack nonsense. I believe in haki used and effort put into an attack. For instance, the attack Kaidou used on Kinemon >> the TB act 1 Luffy took.

Yamato put her full stregtnh, and her AdCoC into a free swing. Being base or hybrid is damn near irrelevant to me. It just means at best she is scraping by if she went hybrid, and potentially scratching GB.

So did Jozu, and she also made Hybrid Kaidou bleed with blunt attacks.

That scene made her AP look like shit. If GB can take freebies with no damage, he can literally sit there and beat Yamato by letting her tire herself out before being able to put him down. That's pretty pathetic. On the other hand, maybe GB is just that durable.

But then again, she can't have it all. She does not have Law and Zoro's damage dealing for a reason, she has an insane top speed and durability. If she had impressive AP, she would probably already be a top tier.
Oda did make sure to give her something though, GB praised her haki in the end. So that’s not a knock off of her portrayal. The no damage part is really iffy, that’s just the problem with scaling blunt attacks. They’re so inconsistent; g2/g3 Luffy was drawing out blood and exhausting Kaido but then his ultimate g4 attack was shrugged off. Garp and Kuzan’s clash looked like it just left minor bruising on both, Kizaru’s face was clean after WSG, etc. That’s just how blunt damage works in One Piece, you never really know for sure how much damage these attacks deals. Did Shanks even draw blood from Kidd? He didn’t even leave a mark on his body iirc lol.

Tbh, Kaido only took a portion of TB as his own cancelled part of Yamato's as well.

I mean GB is also an endlessly regenerating durability monster I don’t think Yamato barely damaging him is a big antifeat for her tbh
It's an anti-feat for aCOC dickriders
It's "just" a strong AP enhancer to allow brawlers/swordsmen to compete with the strongest fruits offensively (like awakened Ope Ope no Mi or Gura Gura,), not an autowin.
If we believe Kuzan doesn't have COC then he managed to match Garp ACOC punch by covering his fist with a thin layer of ice, so not really surprising Ryokugyu can shrug off base Yamato hits even COC coated

Bruh. While I agree some nameless attacks are stronger then named I think this is a bad take to have. When she was attacking Kaido with all her might she used a named attack and split the skies. This is a wild take to assume her nameless club swing is stronger then that.

Hybrid is a huge boost in stat what do you mean.
