Yamato was better off before that scene existed. It doesn't do anything for her in the best case. That's the point I've been trying to really make.

I‘ll admit that her AP did look pretty bad at that scene. Logically, she has all the makings of a top-tier already but Oda might be more reserved of making that official than when he is with Zoro/Law. I think he just doesn’t know where to place her exactly yet, he keeps things vague by tuning down her firepower. Oda also deliberately avoided an extended Yamato vs GB situation by having Momo tell her to stand down.
