But how was it staged by Assad, in what way does he benefit, is he not losing his drug empire now? And Putin loses influence in the region?
It’s not like Assad ever had a choice, he definitely had an agenda set by outside groups, and now they’re fulfilled
Just look at the scale of the “civil” (can’t really call it civil when it’s an invasion by outsiders masked as syrian liberators) war back in 2011, since then Assad only gained more control over the country, to see his rule crumble in a matter of days is just hogshit
Anyway they’re gonna set up kurdistan now, and Israel & Turkey will start gobbling up syria slowly
the US not being out of the question.
No shit
Reality: Russia and Iran were busy elsewhere. Assad should have fallen years ago if there was no super power maintaining him to power. Putin basically pulled back from Syria just like how Biden did with Afghanistan because they needed to shove their dicks onto each other.
Russia and Iran are never too busy for such a critical spot lol, they have a lot of power to spare
Besides, no actual confrontation actually occurred, Assad has a lot of artillery to spare, it all went up and vanished
