What was the last movie you watched?

Kizaruber Eats

Awkwardly existing in a world of chaos.
Gladiator II - 4/10

Woah, what did I just watch? wtf were those colosseum fights lmfao, and Ridley Scott messing with history again for some cheap entertainment.
The drama, which was the high point of 2000s movie, doesn't exist in this sequence, the protagonist is an empty box. Denzel Washington's character literally saved the movie.
This is a cheesy action film, if you don't care much about history and a good script, you might like it.
But seriously I don't know what's wrong with Ridley Scott, his Napoleon film was already beyond terrible with those stupid war strategies.
I'd be very surprised if this movie is not just a cash grab and nostalgia bait tbh.

It's been a long time since i saw the original but it never needed a sequel. People were satisfied with it. Same with 300 and some other films/IPs.

As soon as I saw the trailer for this appear, I just felt an aura of greed, shallow fanservice and disappointment.

Hollywood doesn't care for integrity.

This just looked so hollow, so soulless. Unlike the original ofc.

My top 5 movies of the year so far

Dune Part II
Furiosa
Joker Foliè a deux
Transformers One
Deadpool and Wolverine

Still need to see: Alien Romulus, Long legs, Nosferatu, The Substance, Anora, Gladiator II, Wicked.

Lol inverse for me, with Raiders and Crusade being interchangable and Temple being my least fav

Tho it still clears this last one. I heavily disliked it.
The Last Crusade is my favorite one, Harrison Ford and Sean Connery's chemistry and dynamic was gold, with Raiders of the Lost Ark being 2nd and Temple of Doom being 3rd for me.

I am not counting the other two.
