Well for one we dont even know who Rox's main fighters were. So all of that is pointless to bring up.

From the panel that's shown of them its implied a 4vs2. (But I doubt it was a 4v2)

Roger did not want to fight all the Yonko like Luffy. This is Xebec D Rocks side of Luffy. Roger also did not attract allies easily.

Actually he did. The flashback pannel of Roger meeting Rayleigh is implying that he casually got him to join his crew.

Nice catch! I remember hearing that BB has an interest in history, a lot of his goals and actions are probably based on his knowledge of legendary figures and the void century. Which makes BB’s recent movements all the more interesting - what does he want to obtain before the marines and how is this related to Oda suddenly bringing up the Marines’ history with Roger and the Rocks?

Honestly no idea why some people are saying this. If anything, the new information hypes the Shanks/Mihawk duels even further now that we know Whitebeard was a member of Rocks and that Shanks also had a connection with Wano and Oden. Whitebeard, who witnessed the Rocks’ final battle and who rivalled the pirate king himself saying that their duels were legendary and still new to his ears? Yeah that’s not the sort of shit people do *before* their rise to power. More hype to the swordsman duo, more hype for Wano and Oden. It’s a win-win if you ask me.

Interesting Jolly Roger


Sengoku confirms at the end that there is something strange about Wano, that it seems to be a convergence of powerful important characters, why do these big shots go to Wano? What's over there? I feel like there is something World Changing at Wano, and the World Govt and Marines may find out about it while their in Wano, through the CP0/Marine/Sword.

I honestly feel like Oda has been waiting to get to this part of the story, after all his world building and planning. He's like:

At least part of next chapter has tone outside of wano

at the bare minimum, we need to see the clash between the marines and the shichibukai and we should know what the SSG has invented before we head back to wano

Bot everyone have the same growth and potential
Shanks Oden have higher potential
Kaido has higher potential than BM since he grew even above her and almost equal to WB.
Luffy Coby Aceh ave higher potential than anyone

I love how Sengoku puts mid gen Rocks on higher pedestal compared to old gen Rocks, but everyone pretends not to see it.

Kaido > Xebec, based on Sengoku's interpretation. Old legendary farts are overwanked.
