Mihawks relevance to zoro is the title not mihawk himself. If another swordsman proves themselves stronger they automatically become more relevant to zoro

The seraphim canonically get their personalities from the warlords
Also mihawk’s character doesn’t have anything to do with whether or not zoro will fight stronger swordsmen

Ehh, I think it's possible to write Shanks as a complex character that prefer to deal with good and bad to maintain stability, leveraging his heritage, at least until it's time to act.

There was already groundworks done for this, in Marineford.
Sengoku saying "because it's you", when listening to Shanks and calling off the war.

So, I don't think it is nonsensical for Shanks to be there in meeting with Gorosei, especially if he sneaked in

Any level of interest would make sense. They should do literally any single thing that the characters in-universe might/can do. But they have zero interest as far as we've seen. That doesn't make any sense if the characters care about anything.

What is this point about the specific time it will happen? It's a race, they're actively hurting their chances by doing nothing. It's a growing problem that gets worse by the minute because there's other factions who actually do care.

Like I said, that's fine if they acknowledge it, but as far as we can tell they have no thoughts or conversations about it. That makes no sense and makes them non-characters.

Why argue about this when you're clearly just looking at it from just a meta-perspective?

Gotta say though, I still have no idea where Oda is going with this lol. One hand its cool he's addressing God Knight stuff in Elbaf, especially....Shanks/"Shanks" which also means potentially God Valley/Rocks, but how does this factor into Giants and Elbaf lore is throwing me off.

How were these 2 CDs summoned here? Wouldnt that imply they were always here or that another CD was here to summon them (i.e. like Saturn summoning the other Gorosei)
