No, because it's relatively too modern for me. I haven't consumed anime in over 7 years.
The artwork looks interesting, though. Almost Paranoia Agent-inspired.

Anyway to answer the question , one of my favorite lesser known anime is The Vision of Escaflown
Shiki (The OST the theme the characters ) Nagi no Asukara (I was shocked to know this was not as well known in recommendation) Ixion Saga DT Great Comedy Isekai.
Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash: a realistic depiction of the hardships faced by individuals unexpectedly transported to a fantasy realm, compelling them to start from scratch and endure grueling labor to stay alive.
It should have been atleast 24 episiodes I would say to make its mark as main focus is character and their development but after intial few episodes I felt its job was mostly done and they just wanted to promote the novel..
I would suggest play the danganronpa Games...after that can watch the anime..
Try out, One Outs(this is baseball + insane mind game evven though I don't watch or play or care about baseball this is a great watch) and Kaiji for anime.
There are many mangas with such themes though, like the first one I read was liar Game.
Aside from the ending itself which was a bit weak, it's impossible to guess who ends up with who until the very end which is like an unique case almost since normally you just need to watch the first minutes of the 1st ep to know, and the drama is great.
