The colored manga coloring his blade black was a W for them, but it’s important remember that the colored manga isn’t any more canon than the anime. The colored manga also gets designs wrong sometimes, such as them giving Jupiter having blonde hair in the colored manga even though the latest volume cover proved he had white hair. Many GB fans are popping the champagne too early imo. We need to wait until a volume cover or official drawing from Oda himself depicts it as black, or until Oda makes a statement about it being a Kokuto or not. It could still just be a brown, wooden blade imo

Coloured manga is irrelevant, the VC and the One Piece colourwalk wall are canon colours imo.

I'm one of Admiral fans who is willing to not give much crap if it's not a black blade, as long as it's a Supreme Grade.

Even though it's more interesting if it's a black blade, bc that means Oda's gonna make his CoA the strongest among Admirals ( while he gives Fuji strongest CoO, Kuzan Garp punching strength, Kizaru barrier coa defense )

It's gonna be an L for me only if it's not a BB nor a Supreme Grade, so a non-black Great Grade.
But as it stands this is very unlikely, the #1 most likely option = it's a BB whether it's a Supreme or Great Grade one.
The #2nd most likely is, it's a non-black Supreme just like Fuji's.

A non-black Great Grade is only the #3 option.

Wooden Blade would be mostly colored white.. It's Fujitora's cane sheath but it's the same concept..

The reason I think it's not as big a W as they're making it out to be, is because despite all their efforts to prove otherwise, it's still a W for Mihawk. It just means that he has a blade that's even stronger than ANOTHER black blade, and that he himself is stronger than Aramaki as well.
It's not really a win for them against the sword fandom, when you consider that.
But it is very impressive outside of that.

A Black Blade that's even stronger than another Black Blade.. That sounds like Ryuma..

But to even reach that level you have to surpass the barrier of 12 supreme grade.

There´s barely any characters who care about the ¨art¨ of swordsmanship in universe lol. Greenbull isn´t known for much yet, but we now know he has no history in the marines and wasn´t involved with anything like that, so he would have the time to develop a black blade(similar to Mihawk who has no crew or anything, he just focuses on his sword). I think it makes sense

I think iit should more towards eternal Mangekyou sharingan. Instead of just mangekyou sharingan.

You can see mangekyou as supreme grade swords.
Only Madara and Sasuke had it.
