So imo it’s going to be the Blackbeard Pirates that take down the marines old legends. Kuzan already fought Garp and Blackbeard might fight Sengoku. Shiryu vs bogard and laffitte vs tsuru would also be cool potential match ups but obviously less important

But what about Rayleigh?
While yeah technically he doesn’t need to involve himself in anything he probably will imo. Same way he was involved with helping Amazon lily

Coincidentally Blackbeard also being involved. Lowkey idk how much I really even like the idea but Blackbeard trying to run it back again after getting a 3rd fruit isn’t impossible

Him and his crew already took whitebeard’s head. Tho yes obviously he was already in a terrible state when they did. With them now potentially taking down old marines too like Garp Sengoku and Tsuru
Them taking down old Roger Pirates down for whatever reason like Rayleigh and Gaban if it’s truly him in elbaf could be interesting. Probably for clues to the one piece or them just stopping him from going after someone else

Besides Blackbeard maybe someone part of the world government like a marine or noble idk

I think the same I think Ray will be the last guy from the old gen from pirate side to be alive and even partake in the final war potentially, this is due to him being retired and how he moves being cautious knowing there are enemies out to get him. Newgate and Garp were more upfront but because they are still active with an army behind them, Ray moves solo.

what other og do you think he could fight? I think Ogs typically avoid each other like sengoku n Garp never had a direct physical confrontation with Newgate. I think they respect one another and know the risk in it.
