If he looked like this after just one no name regular slam, imagine if it were Blue Hole , Shiryu would have disintegrated into nothing.

Old Garp came to Beehive island and faced 5 competent characters and an army of fodders :

Afterwards , Weakened Garp clashed against Aokiji and then he threw him with a hakiless, nameless throw treating him as an after-thought to save Coby in which he succeded.

He used no haki attacking moria and the sword was invisble during the slash. When he draws his sword on other opportunities however its not invis even with no haki meaning there is no instance in the manga where he had his sword permanently invisible, haki or not. Infact, absolom has passivly invised his bazookas without even gripping them so meaning we didnt even see making his sword and sheath invisible just attached to him.
He has just has not demonstrated more mastery than absolom over his fruit in any way shape or form

i was adding on something more but missed it.He doesn't need to make his sword invisible permanently, that doesn't improve anything for his attacks. As long as he makes it invisible when attacking it should be fine.

Like so far we seen the most bare bones use of the fruit from him. People screaming for awakening and stuff but we didnt even see him even utilize the fruit in his base to its fullest

Yeah but then give me a scenario where Garp and Aokiji dont come out looking like crap. If Shiryu does something else for the fight then how bad does this look for Aokiji. If Shiryu doesnt take damage then how does this look for Garp?
