Sure, if we're talking about things he could do, then Smoker could still be important. But so far he's been useless. His presence after Alabasta is negligible.

You know why I can say that?
Smoker was involved with Croc's conspiracy in Alabasta. Yet the Shichibukai still stood.
Smoker saw Law do weird shit in PH. Yet the Shichibukai still stood.
Smoker was assaulted by Doffy in PH. Yet the Shichibukai still stood.

Meanwhile, Fuji came in, witnessed Doffy's DR takeover, spoke against it. And the Shichibukai are no longer.
That's a man of importance.

You can argue that the Shichibukai system couldn't be dissolved before DR for plot needs, and I'd agree with you. But Oda still had no reason to use Fuji for its cancelation, when that had been Smoker's sideplot throughout pre-ts.

So far, Smoker has been a glorified babysitter for the giants kids of PH, and even that lead to absolutely nothing.

Anything Smoker does, there are at least ten other Marines who could do it better. He's useless. You'd think Oda could implement him within Sword, yet he prefer to introduce new characters like golem swag dude rather than show both Coby and Smoker alongside Garp.

Whatever Oda has in mind for Smoker, it's too little too late.

Except,the warlord system wasn't instantly dissolved after dressrosa,it was dissolved arcs later. And that was only because of a vote. Fujitora himself thinks about what Smoker told him when making his decision. Ten other marines who could do it better? Bro, how many of the marines are specifically allies of Luffy that Luffy himself specifically talks about liking lol? As far as I know,aside from Akainu, no other marine has insulted the Gorosei to their faces(snail faces, but still) Yes, I'd agree that the literal admirals mog Smoker at this point in story. Of course they do. But those admirals are old and will eventually have to step down EOS. Yes, he's obviously been taking care of the kids for a bit in universe, but again, him taking care of the kids signifies the trust the SH have in him lol. And idk why Smoker would be in sword. All characters in Sword are Kobys fan club and Smoker has a very different personality(and role, he's a vice admiral of a base, and he's been shown to have a lot of care for his men).

That was literally NEVER his dream. He wants to find the will of D lore and stuff. And he will be back to learn it all, and most likely help the alliance in the final war. Prolly defeating a gorosei.

I think the HK are matching up with the Revos.

There will be some vet level ones that fight people like Inazuma, Koala, Jiron, Ahiru, etc (each rev commander has a right hand person). And then it will range from that to commander level all the way up to Dragon/top tier level

All of the rev sub commanders are commander level and morley, karasu, ivankov etc are admiral level

Thanks, I think Lucci is yc+ because a yc1 is one shot by an emperor but a yc+ like Lucci and Yamato can fight for a bit, Zoro fought Lucci and Sanji trained and deflected Kizaru's beam so they were yc+ in Egghead and are a bit stronger now at the begining of Elbaf, but Katakuri's mochi may be an issue
