There's definitely gonna be more interpretations that are more confusing than the next.

I'm not exactly sure how will Oda explain this relationship, maybe DFs are still involved, it's just that Imu have some kind of Control over them, for example don't forget that in God's Valley-Like Events, Holy Knights compete & Prizes were DFs
However, if we compare to Thriller Bark, We had Soldier Zombies (People), Wild Zombies (Animals) & Surprise Zombies (Taken from Environment), i think that's Reference to Paramecia, Zoan & Logia in same order
Perona was Commander of Wild Zombies + Surprise Zombies,
If Imu is indeed OPVerse Perona, then She is in control of Zoans & Logias,
Gorosei were based on Zoans, and this Girl seems to be a Logia,
As long as We don't see a Paramecia, then this Theory is still possible,
