But Imu had more weight as a final villain since the WG is carrying 800+ years of history at their back.

But now we've learned the void century isn't the first "void century".

So if Teach inherited the God of Destruction's will, that means he is carrying with him more than that of Imu and the WG. This gives Teach the "weight" needed to be the final villain.

Teach will be final villain because he is smart and lets the others do all the hardcore fighting before coming in the back door .

I mean if you look at that perspective, sure, Teach will definitely make a giga brain move since he is clever asf.

I just don't think it's going to be as simple as just Teach being the wittiest of them all. Oda is about inherited will and he'll defy logic just so he can tell the story the way he wants to. If Teach is the final villain, he's going to have a connection with the bigger picture that will parallel Luffy and Nika.

The darkness fruit allows him to house the souls of devils because his soul is a dark void. Where a normal person would be torn apart by the devils fighting, in Blackbeard they feel at home and don’t struggle against each other. He will be attempting to absorb or permanently destroy them all once he takes control of the Sun Tree Eve. This is why they have been hunting devil fruit users. Killing them returns them to the tree, or Blackbeard can capture and transfer the souls of the devils using his power to his allies. This will lead to him turning on and murdering all of his own crew in the end.
