They always do this, they only hype up Zoro's opponents as god tier characters just to indirectly hype up Zoro.
But at the same time, they are also super salty because things haven't been going their way for a while.
During Wano, they thought that Zoro would get major character focus, lead the Samurais of Wano, defeat and kill Kaido, and also focus on the whole thing with the Grim Reaper.
Only for none of that to happen, especially ZKK.
Then in Egghead, you had them believing that he would fight and defeat Kizaru, with a few other ZBoys believing he would fight and defeat Nusjuro.
Again none of that happened, oh and the Zoro vs Lucci fight they wanted to see, well unfortunately a majority of that fight was off screen.
And finally you have the whole thing with Mihawk, a character they keep saying is top 1 and above everyone.
But Oda has yet to give major focus or hype to Mihawk, with the last time he had any sort of hype was back in Marineford, then you have the whole thing with Mihawk being forced to join Buggy.
Him not making an appearance in that Vegapunk One Piece panel, while Garling and Pranks did.
You even have them trying to keep leeching off of Shanks hype.
Shanks, Blackbeard, Gorosei, and Admirals, and now even the God's Knights are already getting more focus compared to Mihawk.
Meanwhile Mihawk most likely won't get any major focus until he fights Zoro.

Both sides are right tbh..There is no way in hell Oda would write just a subordinate dealing with a whole ass Emperor crew. On the other hand Oda has decided until now to not show the limitations of the Lunarian abilities and on top of that King has the ancient Zoan buff to keep going further easier and with more endurance.
We saw how the minks commented kn Jack's never ending onslaught for 5 days and he could keep going further ...
Minks have increased recovey and took 12 hour breaks and still couldn't deal with Jack..
Now imagine an even atronger character with Lunarian abilities.
Same Lunarian abilites that had ID armament G4 Luffy who was ganging up on a 8 year old Lunarian with Lucci question if he was fucking Kaido. And these 8yo lunarians were scratchless a day later.
Aside from Big Mom herself there is none that could harm him directly & the BMP would need hax to work in their favour.
Their only options are Smoothie wringing him, the book(which is flammable and won't work) and the shoving him in the mirrorworld.
There is nothing to stop Alber from putting holes in each and every one of the BMP below the top 4 .
There is nothing stopping King with his fast pteranodon form (Again aside from BM herself) ,from flying from Island to island and burning them to the ground from the ground be it from Andon or his imperial flaming wings
Which has an explosion aftereffect btw.
All the food based Devil fruit abilties the BMP have are useless against a fire user.

Also while I agree about Oda's lack of willingness to explain Lunarians weakness and even if that means none of the BMP would be able to damage King, since he's still a Devil Fruit user, nothing stops them from drowning him in the ocean.

- After clashing with big mom
- After using his flames on the the main floor to stop the ice virus
- While also having to deal with fodder at the same time
- Same type of fodder had zoro breathing heavy and was overwhelming the alliance in general

Who is going to push him to sea? Yuen or the decuplets? Smoothie isn't landing one of her giant slashes when she couldn't on a ship. How are you restricting a zoan that can change forms and create explosions to free himself?!
Peros candy doesn't work and neither Katakuri's mochi. They burn and melt. Any food based ability isn't doing shit.
