Well, the second King causes havoc on the first island he cames across, they'd warn anyone else and from there it's a matter of time before their forces arrive or prepare for King's arrival on another island.
Pero's candy is the only proven ability to be susceptible to heat to the extend it's made useless. Power Mochi needs a split second of contact to send King flying before it starts burning, let alone melting and that's if haki wouldn't protect it from doing so anyway...Power Mochi, Daifuku's genie, Smoothies slashes are the most prominent options I can think of, however We had Izou shooting King's sword out of his hands and Marco proved King is not some immovable object, so no way he's gonna be able to fend of BMP as whole long term, sooner or later he'd be pushed into the sea.

First of all, they all managed to hurt him but it was simply superficial damage. Nothing more. None of them truly bested Kaido in a battle either.
As for that, that's why I specifically told you Kaido is NOT King because King's definitely getting jumped by the Scabbards and there's nothing he can do about. Thankfully, his flame mode saves him from taking damage but knowing King, he'd often switch to his speed mode and be completely vulnerable to them all.
This is even against the BMP, a few of them have bfr hax, not the Scabbards. That a lot worse. Honestly, I think you guys are nuts to even entertain this match-up.
So Kaido could last that long because they couldn't hurt him

Both sides are right tbh..There is no way in hell Oda would write just a subordinate dealing with a whole ass Emperor crew. On the other hand Oda has decided until now to not show the limitations of the Lunarian abilities and on top of that King has the ancient Zoan buff to keep going further easier and with more endurance.
We saw how the minks commented kn Jack's never ending onslaught for 5 days and he could keep going further ...
Minks have increased recovey and took 12 hour breaks and still couldn't deal with Jack..
Now imagine an even atronger character with Lunarian abilities.
Same Lunarian abilites that had ID armament G4 Luffy who was ganging up on a 8 year old Lunarian with Lucci question if he was fucking Kaido. And these 8yo lunarians were scratchless a day later.
Aside from Big Mom herself there is none that could harm him directly & the BMP would need hax to work in their favour.
Their only options are Smoothie wringing him, the book(which is flammable and won't work) and the shoving him in the mirrorworld.
There is nothing to stop Alber from putting holes in each and every one of the BMP below the top 4 .
There is nothing stopping King with his fast pteranodon form (Again aside from BM herself) ,from flying from Island to island and burning them to the ground from the ground be it from Andon or his imperial flaming wings
Which has an explosion aftereffect btw.
All the food based Devil fruit abilties the BMP have are useless against a fire user.

Exploiting Oda's lack of limits & the other using portrayal.
It's Pica all over again because Oda didn't think to put a limit on him back then but he did do that to Pizzaro even though he has the upgraded version of Pica's fruit.

Tempura Udon is powerful quite indeed but his movement will be restricted when Katakuri traps him with several tons of mochi.
That's basically his last resort and until he uses that, it's already far too late...
Ironic that a rabid dummy like you is stating anything about headcanoning when you're picturing yourself how Kaido's first commander wrecks the complete territory of another Yonko including her entire crew, lol.
Guess what isn't a headcanon:
1.) The Yonko were in a deadlock for several years. This was evident when Shanks was finally doing his move after Kaido and Big Mom were gone. Blackbeard used an admiral plus other crew members to invade a weakened Tottoland. Kaido didn't even do a single move against them for years and was panicking when Big Mom invaded his country with a rather small fleet.
2.) The navy described how Big Mom has the strongest family. Hence that was Oda's way to say that her crew is hella strong, especially since her strongest subordinates are her own children.
King soloing Tottoland isn't headcanon, it's pure madness.
I'm rather surprised AfroKing also believes King has a good chance against them, lol.
