I’m assuming this is a “by marriage” type of thing… the 19 families who form the celestial dragons are the same. We have not been told that Another family was added or replaced… So this practice of making outsider celestial dragons must be done through marriage… Loki would have to join one of the 19 celestial dragon families by marriage (or maybe by adoption)

Also the more they keep saying how evil Loki was and supposedly how good Harald was the more I’m thinking it’s the exact opposite

So it wouldn’t make sense if there wasn’t a deeper connection between the two

• They have similar appearances(scar, one arm, red hair)
• It’s revealed Kid created an alliance to fight shanks
• It’s revealed Kid lost his arm to the rhp over the timeskip
• Kid loses to Shanks outside elbaf

Kid being connected to Shamrock would 1) give a payoff to the Kid/Shanks thing 2) give a way to further develop Shamrock

Yes but Oda clearly gave a special focus between Kid and Shanks

So it wouldn’t make sense if there wasn’t a deeper connection between the two

• They have similar appearances(scar, one arm, red hair)
• It’s revealed Kid created an alliance to fight shanks
• It’s revealed Kid lost his arm to the rhp over the timeskip
• Kid loses to Shanks outside elbaf

Kid being connected to Shamrock would 1) give a payoff to the Kid/Shanks thing 2) give a way to further develop Shamrock

Seems to have been a personal vendetta, strategically targeting the perceived weakest of the emperors and going back to get revenge for his arm later.
