No one was ¨sacrificed¨. Oda has not been willing to show a single admiral die over 1000 chapters into one piece. But he killed Big mom and Kaido off lol
If Shanks also wears the hoodie I might literally drop the manga lmfao. But yes the Goroseis dialogue doesn´t make sense at all.

I remember back when some thought that Bobbin was Admiral level.
Even if he was never going to be admiral level, it still feels like a waste, especially given how powerful and versatile his sleep power, likely the sleep df, could have been if used and shown more properly.
It's one of the many things and details that make me believe that Oda really didn't know how and what to do with BM and her crew.
Oda literally gave Kizaru some of the best excuses you can find in the manga as to why he couldn't properly fight.
