I did not say that for powerscaling reason, but I remember distinctly the whole shenanigans about Big Mom never being hurt in her life and that THE WHOLE plan was around breaking the photograph so that her defenses would be down for one instant. One arc later, franky in a bike hurts her.

Only Chopper sells a lot of toys. I don't think Usopp and Brook (not even combined) sell as much merch as Chopper.
A good chunk of people would rather get merch of the super cute reindeer boy than a skeleton or a tan dude anyway

Big Mom is now disrespected by all fanbases. You’re more likely to see “Big Meme” than her actual name nowadays.

They were created by fans tbf. Oda decided to make them canon but they are not that important.

I feel like Roger kinda was fumbled, mainly with how he basically became a sort of "Gol D Luffy" in the Wano flashblacks.

Idk, I guess I would have wanted him to be more ruthless and cold, like a darker, more down-to-earth character with all of Luffy's ambition and determination. Maybe that's just my inner edgelord idk.

They were created by fans tbf. Oda decided to make them canon but they are not that important.

They could have had a role, going on important missions or serving as right-hands to the admirals or going alongside them or Garp to Wano or Beehive. Gion could have been a swordswomanship teacher to Tashigi.

But well it can only be the admirals, Garp or Koby who can do things for the Marines.
