its actually disappointing to see something like that from a high caliber swordsman ,
I mean turning ur sword into a monstrous being ?
like why ? we alrdy saw gorosei turn into monstrous beings which were utterly underwhelming
cause he don't respect the sword

just like king had some contraptions on his sword that allowed him to snatch his opponents swords away.

He ain't a swordsman

I just don't get the use case of a sword that can turn into an animal. Might be useful for someone who hasn't high potency as a swordsman in the first place, but Zoro turning his swords that can decimate any opponent into a dog, what the heck is that good for.
If the Sandai ate Kaido’s fruit, the sword would most likely be able to:
-Enhance his durability without haki
-Produce flames without Zoro exerting himself
-Produce a magma like fire
-Produce lightning
-Produce tornado and wind slash without Zoro exerting himself
-Grow bigger
-move like a snake
-Produce flying nimbus

The sword would basically be able to do everything Kaido could do at the whim of Zoro.

I personally think it was obvious that it was a Roger Pirate after the shanks convo about the old friend
Dorry and broggy never made sense in context to me
He said old friends not friend. And considering that Dorry and Broggy just returned for new weapons these two being old friends makes sense. Not the dude who has lived in elbaf for some time and even has wife and son.

This is absolutely the strongest argument for Gaban, but also Dorry and Brogy are implied to possibly be these friends.
