When thinking about it, I've always had trouble trying to figure out when the Straw Hats vs Marines would even happen aka the "The Vs Marines arc."
Like after Elbaf there most likely won't be that many arcs left, it's going to be Lodestar and then Laugh Tale/the Final War.
Maybe another arc in between.
I also can't see Akainu and the Admirals getting defeated before the Blackbeard Pirates.
Then I was thinking ok they will be fought at the Final War but then that brings up the whole thing with Imu and the Five Elders and whatever else on their side.
So yeah maybe the Straw Hats won't actually fight Akainu and the Marines at all.
Even though they are the opposing faction against the Pirates, at the end of the day, they are not the true villains.
