BB is as important in the grand scheme of things as IMU or perhaps even more. Better to invest in his stock
The sun deity is Nika, VP did say that he didnt know who was in the right or who was in the wrong. The giants also said that Nika was a god of destruction. There is a panel I posted earlier where all 3 suppositions (God of Liberation (World 1 Nika) God of destruction (World 2 JB sowing seeds of war) God of laughter (Luffy).
Tbh, I feel BB will be part of that big war between Luffy and IMU.
His importance in the story is clearly reflected by the fact that he is marked by IMU alongside 3 characters inheriting will of void era - Luffy, shirahoshi and Vivi.
And, he is the representation of Darkness in a manga which is centred around MC - the Sun
So, BB is participating in that war.
And, as a BB fan, I do feel imu is getting cucked at the end.
It's a pirate manga.
A one vs one between SHs and BBPs - Luffy vs BB - both seeking bigger dreams, both seeking freedom but in different context and both representing values opposite to each other would be a fitting end..

How much of this did Roger learn at Laugh Tale and why would his entire crew laugh?
Did Joyboy pull some trick that is so hilarious because its funny that the WG is actually somehow getting massively trolled by him centuries later?
You know, like when someone you dislike is trying soooo hard but are unaware and oblivious that they are getting trolled?
Not saying its that but just as example, that the WG is unaware they already lost ages of something Joyboy has done equating to him giving them a huge middle finger beyond the grave.

I believe people jump the gun way to soon with declaring Imu and the 20 Kings as the ultimate evil. I think the Winged demon is pure evil. The WG just doesn't strike me as such, yes, they're not good people, but most likely they managed to create a system to run the world that works.
Hell rn I'd say the ancient Kingdom and Soyboy weren't even good guys, this also goes back to VP not knowing who was the just one himself.
Definitely think Imu isn't the Winged demon, maybe related.
