Yes, finding One Piece ends manga, because you learn about the main object, manga's title itself, learn about history and etc. There's no way for Akainu then find Nika and train him. So his option will be just submit to Imu and serve to god of One Piece world, or just die somewhere, with all his family and allies. While Nika option will be different, but still it ends manga.

This is because Akainu is so trash, if he were to begin from nothing like Luffy did from chapter 1 without being coddled in a safe marine environment and actually facing dangerous and stronger pirates from the get go then he'd be killed instantly. Deskainu doesn't get past Captain Kuro if he started as weak as Luffy did
